A lovely spacious apartment with large balcony at the front which gets the sun all day. We were surprised at how large it is. Very clean. Great location near the market, restaurants and the old town. Furniture was a bit sparse and, although quute well equipped, could do with a bit of updating. However, for the cost it was very acceptable and we will definitely be staying again if we return to Olhao.

Apartment is huge. Very well located (with some observations)

Apartment is extremely hot and noisy. It was clean but with small details that make everything bad, like mold on the dish tray. Beds, even with several reviews complaining about it, are totally broken and squeaky. No communication at all with the owner

Location was fabulous. Great view of the ocean. Access to variety of restaurants at ground level.

Elevator was not reliable. Not too much of a problem since apartment was on second floor.

There was a bad sewage smell the entire time we were there and the host never responded after several attempts to modify our stay The bed was horrendous to sleep on we had to remove the mattress toppers from the single beds to put on top of an old spring sagging mattress in the full bed I do not recommend staying here Seems like all they care about is getting a booking I tried to reach out to the host three times who never responded

I AM STILL WAITING FOR A REFUND! My friend and I waited for the owner to arrive with the keys. She was very late but had notified us but we didn't receive that until later. The apartment had not been cleaned so we sat for 1.5 hours waiting whilst she cleaned it but in that time we realised that sleep was not going to be possible in the apartment because a carnival marquee being set up opposite and they were testing the music in preparation for 3 nights of partying from 9pm -1am each night. Our stay was booked for 3 nights. The carnival happens at the same time every year so the owner would have been aware of this. Also, we were paying to sleep at the property which would not have been possible. I have written many times explaining the situation and no one has even been polite enough to answer. I am now going to take this up with my bank because I paid for something I did not have, Booking.com have been completely useless as well and to date I haven't even had an apology let alone a refund. At 6.30pm we were desperately trying to find somewhere else and at great expense and inconvenience managed to book into a hotel in Tavira. After my booking, my friend had booked a further 3 nights at this accommodation which we went back for but only stayed for 2 nights even though we paid for 3. I am only disputing the first 3 nights that I booked.
