Varandas da Barreta

Interesting views from balcony at the front (private) and from (shared, but no-one up there) roof terrace. Great for bird- and people-watching. Very well-equipped kitchen. Helpful and kind owner. When we discovered we had no corkscrew the neighbour brought one round immediately! Lots of space. Next to market and near ferries to islands.

The location is very convenient to restaurants, supermarket, nearby islands and public parking. View is fantastic.

the play smelt awful! both toilet seats broken, one yellow from urine a smelt like it! no hot tub! spa bath broken! had to get disinfectant and air fresheners!! couldn’t get hob or cooker to work! Zero communication from owner so good job didn’t loose key!!

Very spacious, good location and lots of windows/balconies. Area to sit outside in the sun. Lots of amenities, kettle, fridge etc. Comfortable beds.

Stove didn't work. Little bit noisy at night, but expected due to location.

There was no tourist info or rail timetables. It said toiletry were included but they weren't. I expected a hairdryer but there wasn't one. It was a lovely appt in good location but not much attention to details. The balcony was lovely and had lovely view but it was too hot to sit out in afternoon as there was no canopy or umbrella.
