Seas the Day - self catering lodge North Uist

Absolutely everything! Very nice and comfortable! Ann was a fantastic host and very helpful! We will be returning in the near future!

Gorgeous, stylish lodge with everything needed for a self catering break. It is comfortable, extremely clean and spacious. It is beautifully presented. There is a lovely walk down to the beach. There is so much wildlife to see, including beautiful owls.

Very stylish and neat place, a very well taken care of interior. Everything matches and is very clean. The kitchen appliances were very good (loved the electric kettle) and the kitchen had some basic pantry items like oil, salt&pepper, coffee, tea and sugar) as well. On arrival day we even had a small welcoming present, namely a DIY local gin kit! We appreciated that very much! The deck outside was beautiful, but there were a lot of flies when we were there (mid-July).

The bed was rather small/narrow for two people that aren't romantically involved and the blinds didn't really block the light because of the thin material they're made of. Shouldn't be a problem in winter, but with the long days in summer it's rather impractical.

Ann has put together a really lovely place. Great touches with the pictures in the rooms and great attention to the details. Totally recommend staying here.

We got a very welcome greeting from the owner who provided us with considerable knowledge of the area. The Lodge was very spacious with lovely views across the field towards the sea where we often saw the local owls flying around. The Lodge is located around a 10-15 minute walk from the beach, so it is good for a nice walk. The Lodge itself was cosy and comfortable

The lodge was terrific with well planned interior, relaxing decor and very clean. Plenty of space to move about, perfect for a couple, single or couple with small child. The deck on the front had outdoor chairs so you could relax to enjoy the peace and quiet of the fields leading to the ocean. The owner Anne was a pleasure to chat with and offered local information. She had supplied the lodge with fresh milk, eggs & bread, an unexpected benefit. Plus, there was coffee & tea plus sugar, salt & pepper. All small touches that added up to a good experience. Would highly recommend “Seas the Day”.

Ann is an excellent host. This was our second stay, which we enjoyed.
