"Tavira the hidden gem"

We had a wonderful stay at Casa do Alto. Very well set up with everything that you need. It was in a perfect location within easy reach of restaurants, supermarket and the historical part of town. We had no issues with parking our vehicle during our stay. Plenty of spots out the front. Mario was an excellent host. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

"A really lovely property and attentive host"

A lovely home from home. Lacking nothing down to the last detail for a superb stay. We were at the house during the major Iberian peninsula electricity outage and Mário kept in touch to keep us informed and also delivered a battery operated light to use at night. We would highly recommend this property.

"Gorgeous modern house w/ a lovely terrace"

Stunning house, especially the bedroom. Absolutely loved the terrace and the view. The bed and sofa bed were really comfortable. House was well equipped. Very useful have 2 bathrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Really hard to find anything that wasn't perfect but it would have been handy to have a 2nd washing detergent tablet because we messed up the first clothes wash as the lables on the machine for washing machine stages / temperature were so confusing. Very minor though!

Easy booking and payment process Excellent host: met on arrival and very helpful, easy to communicate with Characterful property in old town amongst local community Great facilities and roof terrace Easy, free parking Tavira is an excellent town for an enjoyable stay.

"First class accommodation"

Casa do Alto is a first class accommodation. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay was provided and the standard within the property was faultless. Mario was really helpful and let us leave our luggage there before check-in time 🕰️ until the cleaning was complete. The location is quiet. The house was spotless and we will definitely be back.

I can’t fault this accommodation.
