Casa Do Alto

Everything. The location was perfect, so peaceful. The house was 10 minutes walk from Portage Nova train station, a few minutes from bars and restaurants, 10 minutes from a large shopping centre and supermarket. The house was a perfect size for a couple, very clean and comfortable. A bathroom with a shower on each floor was very useful. The roof terrace was amazing, sunny and not overlooked with lots of bird song from the trees in the park opposite.

I would have liked a mirror in the bedroom and another large towel.

Great location for walking to restaurants, Roman bridge etc. Extremely well equipped and very clean. Good value.

An extractor fan for moisture in bathroom would be useful for when can’t leave window open (leaving property/rain!). Also a way to dry towels when weather not good would also be useful.

Great, renovated and well equipped apartment. The location.was excellent and in a quiet area. Less than 5 minute walk to the charming center of Tavira, the Roman Bridge, and wonderful restaurants.

The physical layout and decorating of this restored casa is better than the pictures Great care has been taken to include details, a fire blanket in the event of a kitchen fire. New windows with secure locking system that are easy to operate. The view from the terrace of the neighborhood is very special and a great place to do yoga. Easy to locate the apartment. This unit has surpassed in quality any casa we have stayed in Old Town areas. It is a gem. Comfortable bed and roomy shower.

The birds are really cheerful in the morning.

Caso do Alto is in the perfect location with easy access to the town of Tavira with many good restaurants. It's next to a lovely square and near a local bar. There' a great view from the roof terrace. It has two showrooms, a large bedroom and a very well equipped kitchen. It was spotlessly clean and it was easy to park.

An extra small coffee table in the sitting room would have been useful. And we would have liked extra pillows. But these are minor issues.

The house was located in a quiet square about a five minute walk to the Roman Bridge. It had an excellent shower, a comfortable bed, a washing machine and was well decorated and very clean. The kitchen had everything - though we only used the coffee machine. Mario met us when we arrived and showed us around, including the terrace on top where we dried our clothes. Perfect!

This house has been renovated and equipped to a very high standard. Top quality kitchen and bathrooms. The roof terrace is fabulous. The location is excellent, close to town centre and bus and train stations. Very comfortable bed. Mario was very helpful about arrival.

There was only one pillow each and I found it very uncomfortable. A choice of another type of pillow would be good.

On three levels. On a quiet square within east walk of the centre. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Free parking on street. Can walk to supermarket. Lovely roof terrace.
