Rio Gilao

This spacious apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms is very well equipped with everything one may need during their stay. Sandra is a great and responsive host. She communicated with us during our train trip from Faro to Tavira and met us in front of the apartment. She walked us though the apartment, showed us how all the appliances function and had great suggestions about restaurants, groceries, markets, and tourist attractions. We stayed in the apartment in mid-January. It was very well heated, with each room and bathroom having a separate heater. Wine, water, and mango juice bottles accompanied by local cookies as a welcoming gift were well appreciated. Highly recommended!

Le super accueil de Sandra. Les facilités accordées pour les horaires d'arrivée et de départ. La vue sur la rivière et le quartier du château, ainsi que sur les illuminations, en période de Noël. Cuisine parfaitement équipée et chauffage des différentes pièces efficace.

Seul petit bémol, la qualité de la literie (matelas) pourrait être meilleure (mais elle n'est pas mauvaise non plus).

Sehr schöne Lage am Fluss, zentral, geräumig, Schlafzimmer ruhig, gute Betten. Sehr umfangreiche Küchenausstattung. Heizung per Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Nettes Städtchen.

Verbesserungsvorschläge: Sofa könnte mal ersetzt werden. Zusätzliche Lampe zum Lesen im Wohnzimmer wäre schön.

Hervorragende zentrale Lage mit Blick auf den Fluss. Schlafzimmer ruhig nach hinten in eine kleine Straße gelegen. Da wir im November da waren ist die sehr gut funktionierende Heizung zu erwähnen und zusätzlich gibt es in den Bädern noch Heizstrahler. Sehr netter Empfang und Schlüsselübergabe durch Sandra.

Utmerket beliggenhet. Fin, nyere leilighet. Veldig rent. Aircondition i alle rom.

Skarp, hvit belysning i kjøkken og stue, ingen eggeglass, manglet leselys i stuen og ikke noe oppheng for klær i entreen. Kunne godt vært overmadrasser i sengene. Sofaen var forsåvidt god å sitte i, men av klam plast/skaimateriale. Litt merkelig plassering av kjøleskapet.

The apartment was in a good position with a nice outlook over the river and close to town. There is a good supermarket a few minutes walk away and lots of good restaurants. Good communication with the hosts and Sandra, who met us, was very helpful.

Sandra was wonderful! She answered all our questions & left us a bottle of wine & some goodies that we appreciated. She went out of her way to help us. The apartment was great! Nice & spacious. With a little balcony looking into the river. Beautiful! So close to everything too. We really enjoyed our stay here & wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Thanks Sandra for your lovely place!

Location was excellent. Property located on the Rio Gilao and adjacent to all amenities, ferry to beach, restaurants and bars. Probably the best rental property in Portugal.

There was nothing to dislike about this apartment.

Location Location. Grand building with spectacular views over Rio Gilao. Very well appointed property.

Should be 10 out of 10 but for large insect in toilet bowl!!
