Location and security plus good view over the river.

It would be a good Idea to enable the TV to connect to English and WiFi which was done eventually. It might be time to invest in new smart TV'S.

Wonderful apartment. Fantastic view over the river to the cathedral and castle. Clean and very comfortable apartment. Good kitchen equipment. Clean ans Superbenzin. We stayed 10 days and enjoyed it a lot.

Only the barking dogs deep at night in the neighbarhood were a pain.

Everything about this apartment was excellent, we could not fault it. We would definitely recommend it and would definitely like to return.

This is one of two identical, large, recently renovated apartments that overlook the river and a quiet gas station. Pingo Doce supermarket is close by. The host was helpful with much local info. It was great that there were spices, oil, vinegar, some coffee in the fully equipped kitchen. It was worth visiting Vila Real de San Antonio and Ayamonte, Spain by train and ferry for the day. We booked for 8 nights to relax at the end of our stay. Could be too long unless you want to spend lots of time at the beach (take the ferry). There was little sign of the large tour groups seen in the cities.

Note that taxi service and airport transfers seem quite limited in Tavira. We walked to and from the train station. It may be too far if you have lots of luggage.

Great location in the centre of Tavira, near the petrol station but it wasn’t at all noisy.
