Apartment, location was spot on

Not being able to check in before 4 oclock, unless we paid, we had to walk around for 4 hours with our luggage, and there was a dirty towel on the back of the bathroom door. And the bunk bed is not suitable far adults

"Great location "

The location is fab the apartment is nice enough, could do with a lick of fresh paint but overall a nice place only niggle is it's not as equipped other properties we have stayed in, no basic cleaning products supplied or extra bin liners ect only one loo roll supplied

"Don't book with Host and Stay."

Location

The fact another family had moved into our apartment when we got there. They said Host and stay told them they were in that room. Host and stay told us we went to the wrong one. Which we did not. The landlord told us to go somewhere where there weren't enough beds for us. Actually getting in the property and room. Was an absolute pain. The whole time we were there. You never knew if the doors would work at all. Door locks didn't work properly. The sofa was broken and we couldn't sit on it. Some of the furniture was caked thick in dust. The one fan in the property was trashed and broken. It was very hot at night. No one has hoovered under sofas in years. Being told I can't have check in details a few days before we arrive till I have paid a £25 damage waiver (for a 3 night stay). I knew nothing about. Was basically blackmail. It is a rip off. You can get annual cover for less. I will never ever use Host and stay properties again. Ever. They an basically scam artists. It was awful dealing with them.
