Immaculate and finished to a very high standard

Uneven step as you go out,lighting not working so totally pitch black as entrance is down an alleyway, fell & badly sprained my ankle on first night. Spent next day resting on sofa & day after managed to make it into a taxi to go home, company admit lighting needed repair but refuse to refund my money as I didn’t notify them the day it happened, not that it would have helped as ankle was out of action for a good week or so!

great location ad easy parking near by -

staircase outside needs a banister rail and a smaller step adding to the entrance its quite high - but great otherwise

No heating on first night ( maintenance replaced thermostat batteries next day ) Fridge door awkward to close due to ill fitted cabinet door.

Perfect location. Ideal sized property. Comfortable. Well resourced.

I needed a deep clean, dusty and dirty in places.

Clean, modern, great location

Little dark but the weather was really warm so did have the benefit of keeping it cool

The hideaway is situated up a courtyard alleyway opposite the Yorkshire building society on flower gate road, in-between the rows of shops there. The parking zone 'w' is on the road leading up to this saint hilda's rd. You can park briefly there to unpack your vehicle then move to the said zone 'w'. The keys are in a key safe by the front door. Its a basement style flat with a sitting area outside in the courtyard. The living area is well lit and warm, we found it well kept clean and modern open plan kitchen and living area. Nice large shower good size to and a double bedroom with space to hang your clothes. The towels and bedding where spotless to. Only stayed one night so was out and about mostly in Whitby. The location is ideal as it is quite central and the shops , pubs and harbour front are all close by so once parked up...parking permit supplied by the host ...there was no need to travel except by foot Well worth a visit enjoyed the place.
