Host & Stay - Staffordshire Hideaway

What a joke. One of the worst places I've ever stayed in. The place was dirty. The cooker didn't work and it took 2 days for them to come out and fix it. Noisy room above us through the night. No remote for the tv and when telling them on numerous occasions I got no response. Very dirty alleyway to the flat. The bed was just 2 singles pushed together and had springs poking out of the mattresses. The place was a nightmare and I wouldn't put my dog in there

Location was good

No tv remote and when I called got little no no answer of help. The place was dirty not cleaned very well. When I was looking for the remote the back of the settee was disgusting

The place was clean and tidy, close to town, parking permit provided.Nice and cosy and warm.

No email providing safe box code for the keys. Had to ring them to get it, then they gave me an incomplete code. took us an hour to get in while my disabled wife has to sit on a clod step. When we finally got in everything seemed ok until we wanted to switch on the TV. There was no remote control so we couldn't switch it on. As we don't go out much the TV is a lifeline for my wife. On ringing them up again, I was told "it was lost and they are ordering another but it has not yet arrived" No good to us so I demanded a relocation asap. They said they would ring me back, guess what?..... no call back. Terrible customer service from a large letting firm who don't care once they have your money......BUYER BEWARE...!!!

The location was good

There was no remote for the smart TV so it was totally unusable. I messaged the host as soon as I got there telling them I couldn't find it. They ignored my message until the next morning at 9.35am (25 mins before checkout) saying we should check all the cupboards and it was there. Obviously we had checked everywhere including down the back of the sofa and even under the sofa. Also the best was 2 x very small single beds pushed together and the gap in the middle was extremely uncomfortable so neither me or my partner slept well. I messaged all this to them in the morning when they had finally replied to my message and the didn't seem to care at all or offer any solution. The kettle was also disgusting and the place is not anywhere near as nice as it looks in the photos. Anyone thinking of staying there be warned to not expect a good nights sleep on the most uncomfortable bed I have ever experienced in an rental apartment.

The location was perfect

Dirty sofa ,2 single mattress on bed totally uncomfortable…large shower head hardly works …. On arrival on checking round no tv remote messaged was told one was on order put an app on your phone tried this need tv remote messaged to explain no reply 😡😡my partner rely’s on the tv as doesn’t sleep so well you pay a lot of money and expect to get what you paid for ….advice to future travellers try park outside the property to just drop your luggage parking area W absolute nightmare to park in and you wouldn’t want to carry a lot of luggage from there ….

The property was clean and had all the facilities

Bed was not comfortable. There were two single beds joint together to make a double bed and mattress was also a bit uncomfortable but overall property was nice

This place was perfect for what I was looking for great location for everything

Only let down and genuinely would scored 10/10 if the mattress was decent
