Great location overlooking the River Esk and a just few minutes walk from the centre of town. There are three handy pubs within easy walking distance - We enjoyed The Fleece and Navigation Inn, Humble Pie 'n' Mash and Mr Chips. The apartment is well equipped, warm, comfortable and cozy, and made extra special with inclusion of Christmas tree which was a nice touch. The rooms have lovely river/town views. Access to the apartment is via a short but steep fight of steps which may present difficulties if you have any mobility issues. The apartment itself is on two levels, with short double flight to the bathroom and bedrooms. The bath is quite deep and no hand rail so worth considering if mobility is an issue. Overall this was a great base for visiting Whitby and surrounding areas. Would definitely book again.

On-street parking is an issue in Whitby, even in December, but we always managed to get a spot on the road. Church Street Long Stay Car Park is a few minutes away by foot. Current charge is £11.90 for 24hrs (Dec 2025)

Just perfect

Location was great, house felt homely and the view is beautiful. Kids loved their room and there is plenty of space. Plenty of towels and coffee provided, we all slept like logs as the beds were very comfy.

No onsite parking (which we knew before we booked). Street parking is available, but not guaranteed or a pay car park isn’t too far away.

Our 2nd time here this year. Love the comfort and space of the place. Very well set out. Near the Endeavour pub which was so friendly.

Great location close enough to town with amazing views over the river and Marina. Deceptively large flat. Could easily cope with 6. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked . We will be staying again

Was lacking in storage in the kitchen for food bought for a week, a shoe rack or something in the entrance hall would be nice and would encourage people to remove shoes. Only 2 loo rolls which just only just enough with rationing last night. But thats just being picky
