Cottages-Whitby

Lovely little cottage right in the heart of the harbour, had a great stay

Needs updating. It was cold all weekend. Needs throws. Only thing going for it is the location. Over priced .

The location was brilliant and the cottage was cosy.

The stairs up to the property were challenging for the dogs, especially the dachshunds.

Perfect position to explore Whitby. The cottage was cosy and warm, and well equipped. There was plenty of room.

The outside door needed a curtain or blind. There was a lamppost directly outside, which lit up the lounge room. It was very disconcerting to be sat watching TV, and people were passing within feet as the door opened directly o to the pavement. A blind would have made a big difference. The Christmas tree was a lovely touch.

No tea, coffee, milk, salt, vinegar, needed a good clean, tv was basic

Cosy little cottage in the heart of Whitby. Bakery and pub within seconds walk Comfortable sofas, beds and very warm. We managed to park a few minutes walk away

The steps up are quite steep if that’s a problem for you. It would be nice to have a few bits provided in the kitchen such as salt and pepper, sugar etc

Felt it was dated and needed deep.clean Single bedroom.no plug sockets or side lamp. Cottage obviously a very old building and probably listed so hence tiny bathroom. I do prefer a larger bathroom and the shower wasn't great. Tv in lounge area small and dated. No tv in bedroom
