Octogon Apartment

Size (big apartment), bathtub.

Shower gets hot and cold suddenly, the apartment is on the 5th floor and the building has no elevator. The beds on the second room are kinda noisy.

The property is in the heart of the city centre, meters away from Zagreb’s main square. The apartment is spacious and has a lot of natural light. The host was very responsive and always made sure to keep us updated on what we needed. The host also included some complimentary drinks for which was very nice and the bathroom was also stocked with shampoo and shower gel which is a nice touch.

The location, although being great, also included some noise during the evening but we were there during New Year’s. It’s good to keep in mind if you’re planning a visit during holidays. The bedrooms are also slightly smaller than in the pictures, just to keep in mind. The one bed bedroom is also slightly smaller and also doesn’t have a proper roof, but some sort of plastic covering and it’s noisy when it rains. The pressure in the shower cabin was underwhelming and it took ages to take a shower. If you use the shower in the bathtub the pressure is fine, but water gets everywhere.

Great location, easy check in and good communication from the host.

The only slight complaint would be the 5 flights of stairs to the property but other than that great place and would highly recommend!

I liked everything

Location is wonderful. The apartment is located heart of the city. Also it is very big.

The hot water and heating system are very bad. We had to take a cold shower almost throughout the entire stay. This would not be a problem if it was summer, but in the fall, a cold shower is not very nice. We explained the situation to the landlord, the officer who came to check the hot water problem was unsuccessful and the problem was not solved. In short, we could not access hot water and unfortunately we took a cold shower.

Absolutely fantastic Central.lication. Huge apartment with everything needed. Clean a d very nicely decorated.

The location was perfect

The apparently on the fifth floor with no elevator. Air conditioning was very poor. Out of three units one wasn’t working properly, another one was too weak and the third one was ok. There was a heat wave during our stay of 35-36 degrees celsius.

There were several maintenance issues with the property, including a malfunctioning shower, a broken washing machine door, an improperly installed dishwasher, and a skylight that could not be opened in one of the bedrooms. Additionally, there was no internet access upon our arrival. I was not informed that the apartment was on the fifth floor until after I had paid the full amount.
