Beach Forest Villa, An Bang, Hoi An private villa

A comfortable property with three bathrooms, excellent for our group of three friends.

Private & spacious - great place for a family to relax after a busy holiday. Tucked away amongst the greenery of the garden but a super short walk to the beach, mini mart or delicious coconut coffees. Loved the little library of books and the washing machine was super handy. Thuong ran us through all the house features and was available to lend a hand when needed. Lau arrived every morning with a smile and made a lovely breakfast (the kids loved the banana & choc sauce pancakes) - she even bought extra passion fruit, delish!

That it’s a no paper toilet policy (ie European toilet with bidet and paper in bins only - no flushing).

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette villa. La maison est propre, spacieuse et très confortable. Elle est parfaitement bien située, dans une petite ruelle, à côté de la plage et des restaurants et à 15 minutes en Grab de Hoi An. C'était agréable de pouvoir profiter du petit déjeuner préparé avec soin par Lau chaque matin. La personne responsable du logement était très disponible et présente. Elle a répondu efficacement à nos besoins.

The house is nice and very close to the beach. Good shower pressure and fast internet speed. Centrally located and very easy to walk to restaurants, spas and beach cafes.

Absolutely no privacy. The host asked permission to enter the property twice. Once, to clean the house and once to fix a water pressure issue. Outside of those two times someone entered the house EVERY DAY without our permission or knowledge. They waited until we left and freely entered into the house to do outside laundry or whatever. It was a complete disrespect of our security and privacy. This left us with distrust of the host and we also worried about the security of our things. If you’re okay with someone coming and going through the house while your away this is the place for you.

Location was good. Breakfast was below what was expected. In previous reviews people raved about the breakfast selection. We were offered scrambled, fried egg or omelette. The eggs were very overcooked and just served with a bread roll. We said no to having breakfast on the other days as we made other arrangements to eat elsewhere. Very disappointing

A better breakfast selection, even give the option to provide ingredients to cook yourself. The cook needs to be more aware of expectations of visitors. My wife had a sore leg so thankfully there was a bedroom downstairs. Our friends used upstairs. The steps up to the rooftop area are quite dangerous, you definitely wouldn’t carry food and drinks up there! The water tank is incredibly noisy, it wakes everyone up when someone uses the toilet. It appears the rooftop area is used by owner to wash laundry. Hopefully this isn’t done while guests occupy the property.

Gorgeous house, spacious, clean and comfortable. Good wifi, 2 big screen tvs. Location couldn’t be better, super close to the beach, and also shops and restaurants. Responsive host who will fix any issues. Lovely Lau comes in the morning to cook breakfast, what a treat!

The staff are lovely, but are often at the house. The roof is used for washing sheets/towels etc. If you are using the house just as a base to explore, it won’t be an issue. We stayed for a week and were often home during the day for work/study, and had the staff coming and going lots (painting walls, doing laundry). To keep in mind depending on the purpose of your trip.

Fantastic stay, Hoai was so helpful. Accommodation was clean and close to everything.

We loved everything about this property - the location, the villa itself was fresh, modern and clean and it was very good value for money. We were sad to leave this villa and would highly recommend it. The bar directly across (Changos) was laid back and welcoming, the kids enjoyed a game of pool while we enjoyed the live music and a cocktail.
