Beach Forest Villa, An Bang, Hoi An private villa

The villa has 3 bedrooms with a private bathroom each. Suitable if you are travelling with family or a group of friends. The villa is located just a few minutes walk away from An bang beach. Thuong was very helpful. She arranged for transport, and advised us on places that we could visit at Hoi An. She was also very accommodating and helped us to purchase local food for us to enjoy. Our housekeeper, Lau, was also very friendly, and prepared delicious breakfast for us every morning. Basic amenities are provided in the villa, except for toothbrush and toothpaste. So remember to bring your own, or purchase at a nearby minimart. We enjoyed ourselves during the stay, thank you Thuong and Lau!

This property was in excellent condition, super comfortable and in a perfect location, 2 min walk from beach. The hostess was also lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was a 10/10.

Lovely villa in a great location for the beach and restaurants. Good quality building with one bedroom on the ground floor and the other two on the first floor all with ensuite. There is a rooftop terrace with washing machine and sitting area which was good, but it was so hot when we were there we didn't use it much. The caretaker and the breakfast chef came to visit each morning - you need to specify the time and what you want for breakfast the day before and they cook it for you in the villa. We had a variety of eggs, bread and banana pancakes. The aircon and fans were great and the sitting area with the flat screen was really comfortable.

Might have liked the linen and towels changed in the 6 days we were there, but it was OK. Some fruit and/or juice for breakfast would be nice. The coffee was challenging.

Most of the things

- lacking of the initial introduction of basic info of the house (e.g. local rules/regulations, safety conditions, emergency condition, TV chanel use (e.g. Netflix, etc.,)., etc. - lacking the reservation of some instant foods just in case (e.g. instant noodles, snacks, sugar, etc.,) - however, these can be easily improved

Quiet off Main Street. Good place to relax near the best open beach and centre of town. Bar opposite friendly and had good music quiet by 11pm - the bar can be heard from the front bedroom. Lau cooked great breakfast and English speaking manager was helpful with local information. Best restaurant we visited was Na Huy reasonably priced food was excellent. Manager recommended to a good reasonably priced tailor in Hoi An.

The property itself is excellent A Bang has developed beyond recognition since my last visit 6 years ago. Way more commercial and people are pushy to get business. Hoi is packed at night and traders tend towards being aggressive- Vy’s Market is the best food we found in Hoi An and interesting experience. Best to get taxis from the grab app or at least get an estimate from grab before approaching a local taxi driver.

Clean, spacious apartment. Looked after very well by housekeeper Lau, who brought us breakfast daily. Property manager Thuong was helpful with organising local transport.

The noisy bar across the alley makes the front bedroom less appealing and is the only reason to mark this property down.

Close to a bar so if sleeping in one of the rooms that faces it, it could get noisy.
