USIt is centrally located in Bellano. Not too far from the train station. A decent walk though. There are several shopping areas in the area. The Gorge of Orrido is a short walk from the property.
The balcony has a limited lake view if you stand on the balcony and lean out over the road. The property description implies the lake view is much better than it is. The view from the room is a wall of the building across the road. Towels were rough and there was no wash cloth. The Ferry service is very restricted / limited. We found ourselves frequently taking a short train to Varenna to catch the Ferry.

INEttore and his father made sure that our check-in was easy and stay was comfortable. The room and linen were clean. From the attached balcony, one gets a view of the lake. It was a last minute booking for us and we are happy that we booked this place. It is located withing a short walk from Bellano Railway Station - which has an hourly train connection with Milano Centrale Station and it is bang opposite the jetty, from where ferries for the various towns on lake Como ply. There is a good pizzeria just outside the building, which serves excellent pizze, calzone and falafal.
Nothing to crib about really.
GBWe stayed here 11-13 October. Absolutely loved this place. The owner Ettore was superb, who's father met us to hand over the keys and show us around the apartment. The apartment was very clean, with everything we needed and the water in the fridge was welcomed. There was a lovely terrace area with a lovely view of the lake. The apartment was a nice size, the bathroom was huge and had a washing machine which was great because we were on a rail trip around italy and needed to do some washing. Ettore was an excellent host and was very responsive to any messages we had. The information point in the apartment was great and there were lots of leaflets, and maps (including a ferry timetable) which was very handy. If i come back to Bellano, I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for your hospitality Ettore. Love from Paula and Christine.

INIn the description of apartment, it is mentioned 376 sqft area with bedroom , seating area. Actual apartment is very small, I mean what is called as bedroom is actually leaving room which is very small.Most of the space is bathroom and terrace. With 376 sqft area description gives impression that it is big apartment. But you get to use only small room. Even in the bathroom big area is covered by janitor material. In the description, mentioned as 2 seperate areas sofa and double bed but in actual it is convertible sofa cum bed. So you can use either sofa or bed which is again misleading description. I don't find this apartment matching it's description, it is misleading.
