Location and that’s all.

I was disappointed that apartment was on the first floor. I was surprised that there is only one room (on booking it is mentioned as 2 room apartment). Floor was dirty by arrival. And at the end of the day of long time walking we found out that bed is terrible!!!! The complaint is not about the softness or firmness of the mattress, but about the horrible springs that you can feel while sleeping. Host, have you tried it for sleeping by yourself?!?!

The apartment is well located close to the center of Citta Alta and the funicular, in a quiet neighborhood, on the ground floor of the building. The apartment was clean and confortable, the host friendly and helpful, and the wi-fi ok. The little garden/courtyard is nice and you can enjoy a morning coffee outside, in the shade.

The kitchen was rather minimalist in terms of appliances and small, but with care for details and for the needs of the visitors. The bathroom was a bit dark. The apartment does not have airconditioning and keeping the windows open you can hear the loud bells of the nearby churces at various moments in the morning.

The beds were not comfortable at all, and the bell towers are very close so it was a bit too noisy.

Location was great, just few steps from main historical centre. Apartment on first floor of renovated bulding. Nice garden (but little untidy). Spacious bathroom. Responses from the host were helpful. Great for short Bergamo sightseeing trip, but not much comfort for longer stay.

Many electrical plugs don’t work, there’s no plug to boil water in kitchen area. Very early check out time compared to standard. The apartment was not ready with cleaning for the check-in time agreed in reservation. The main bed is not the same as in the picture, it’s noisy when moving. Sleeping comfort is not very high. During the day it was noisy due to construction on the other side of the street. The garden has great potential, but it needs some cleaning in relax area. Comparing to other booking.com locations, we didn’t feel much positive energy from this experience, only to earn money from rent but not putting heart into this.
