Évora City Break Apartment with Patio in the Historic Centre

The house was excellent in all respects, clean, quiet and in a really good location. Communication with the owner was also first class.

Check-in and key collection were easy. Unfortunately we were unwell during our stay here and not in a position to leave the apartment, and Jorge supported us by bringing us some items, and assuring us that we were not alone.

No complaints about this property.

Easy access. Cosy with a courtyard. A bottle of wine awaited us - thank you. Host always accessable and very helpful. Booked a taxi for us on departure. Found a great restaurant by 'the opening in the wall' nearby. O Porta d'Aviz. We were the only tourists. Évora in itself is a wonderful place. Well worth visiting.

Our apartment was nicely maintained and well located (although really Évora is so easy to walk around from anywhere inside the walls), and comfortable. Ana and Jorge are very responsive and helpful, and we appreciated very much the ordering of the taxi on our last day. Évora is such a gem of a place, and our accommodation reflected this admirably.

Good location, excellent communication from host, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, wifi was adequate, the unit was clean and quiet, with heaters to keep us warm (February). We were allowed to check-in a bit early. The host was very communicative (including giving us really good restaurant recommendations) and the check-in process was very clear. The parking is not on-site, it is a short walk away but that was made very clear to us. The host had also left us a bottle of wine, which was a lovely gesture.

The only difficulty we had in the unit was that the water in the shower never got hot -- it got warm but never really warm enough (very chilly washing my hair!). There may be some trick to it but there was no note or directions on how to get hotter water in the bathroom. Not a deal breaker for us. :-)
