Great location. Very spacious apartment. Supermarkets, pharmacy, bakery & and restaurants nearby. Elevator & air-conditioning. Ksandro & Ivana were so helpful - you couldn't ask for better hosts. Ivana even invited us to the mushroom museum where she works & that was very interesting - definitely worth a visit

Very spacious and clean! It was nice having AC. Place was comfortable overall. Walking distance into town wasn't bad. Loved having a park with fountains nearby!

Street parking around the area was free on the weekends. We were so unlucky and couldn't find any free spots. We looped it several times before giving up and parking at a nearby parking garage. Unloading and loading for this reason was a hassle, especially when we had a baby and dog with us.

It was spacious and comfortable. Has a lift to go to the flat which was on the 4th floor. Everything was well organised in the flat and we enjoyed staying there. Kasandro was there to receive us at the flat on arrival and was very welcoming.

AC units are required in the other rooms as the ac unit at the entrance is not enough to reach hall and bedrooms.

Location and our host was exceptional helpful with a luggage issue we had. The apartment is super nice

Communication with owner was excellent It is in a fabulous and safe location There is a lift, so no carrying bags up stairs It is a huge property Every kitchen convenience was provided for. It does look more dated in reality than in pictures but it is obvious that the owner takes pride in this property.

There was a bad cooking smell in kitchen probably from last tenant You sink right down into the bed and my husband could not sleep in it ….. softer than soft However, there was another bed option which he was happy with so it all worked out

My 4 Cs for Lodging: Clean: Every room was clean and sanitary. The bedding was nicely made up with fresh linens and a pair of clean folded bath towels were placed on each side of the bed. The bathroom and kitchen areas were free of any nasty odors such as mildew/mold and small appliances were clean and ready to use. Comfortable: The apartment is very spacious and there are doors to close off separate rooms as needed. So one person can go to bed by closing off the living room and entrance area while another person can stay up later to watch TV or read without disturbing the early sleeper. My husband and I took turns lounging on the comfortable living room 'sofa'.The large bed was roomy and firm...no lumps or sagging. Convenient: The excellent location of Downtown is one of the main reasons I chose to stay here for 3 nights. It is easy 5-10 minutes walking to a variety of good eateries like Heritage and Boogie Lab as well as to the Old Town straight up Petrinjska. Pekara Dubravica bakery is on the corner right across the street(unfortunately closed for 3 days for Labor Day holiday during our stay) and you can get real Turkish baklava and Turkish delights at La Turka just around the corner on same side as the parking garage! We used the nearby paid parking at Javna Garaza Petrinjska which has an elevator so it's easier to transport luggage. (Find a parking space closest to the door with a sign showing steps and elevator!) Caring host: Ksandro responded in a timely manner to my questions and concerns. He was waiting to meet us on the street corner when we arrived and took us up to the apartment. After a quick overview, he requested payment and gave us the keys.

Things that would help us feel more comfortable: 1) Provide at least one clean bath towel per person for each night booked. We only had one bath towel each to use for 3 nights! Using damp towels for 3 days is NOT healthy 2) Provide a minimum amount of hair and body shampoo for guest's convenience. Yes, I know it is not on the amenities list but these are small comforts a guest appreciates from a highly rated host. My luggage was delayed, and my special shampoo and bath soap were in it. After 19 hours, I had to use the handsoap on the sink to take a shower at 9pm my first night in this Zagreb apartment!. Note: Host does provide powdered laundry detergent for the washing machine, and we did 2 loads of laundry. The drying racks are large and sturdy. 3) Request for softer pillows. I found the hard pillow uncomfortable because it did not provide cushioned support for my small neck. As a side sleeper, I could not turn my head comfortably to place my cheeks into the pillow. I rated the host 8/10 due to these 2 issues. I hope Ksandro will take these suggestions for improvement to heart and become a 10/10 super host.
