The apartment is in a great location, very central. Lots of bars/cafes and restaurants literally outside the front door. The apartment itself is great, everything you need. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Sharon met us at the apartment earlier than planned as we arrived into Alkmaar earlier than we thought which was great as we could drop of our stuff and go explore. We couldn't fault our stay and had a really great time. I would highly recommend this apartment and Alkmaar.

It’s located in the centrum of Alkmaar, next to restaurants and cafes. It fits a group of 3- 4 people perfectly. Nice and clean place.

Can get a bit noisy with the restaurants in front of the house, but with the windows close you couldn’t hear much.

Apartment had large living room and was in heart of Alkmaar

Apartment is listed as 2 bedroom apartment but it is more like a one bedroom apartment that doesn’t have bathroom attached and a fully separate bedroom in hallway and fully separate bathroom in hallway - we would not have booked it knowing how separated and disjointed it felt - also it is Very loud above a pub and even with ear plugs some had trouble sleeping/ and if you leave windows open to cool the apartment you will have a lot of smoke and noise coming in windows

Fantastic central location, spacious and well equipped apartment, perfect for a short stay. Alkmaar is a beautiful town with much of the charm of Amsterdam, but much less busy and touristy. The kitchenette was a real bonus to be able to make coffee and tea or snacks, and is very well stocked - although there are so many great bars and restaurants within a short distance anyway.

The stairs up to the apartment are quite steep, so need to take care with old or young people and getting suitcases up and down.

The location could not be better. Very spacious living room, big windows, nice view. Pleased with our stay.

It's was a bit loud during the night. There are several bars on the street, below the apartment. Ear pluggs were supplied by the host.

This definitely exceeded our expectations. The apartment was much larger than I expected, and the location was perfect. The Irish pub below serves great food and very cold beer. We will stay here again on our next trip to Alkmaar.
