Heart Downtown! Great Location! PT7D

The property was clean and decorated nicely. The staff was nice.

We couldn’t get the internet to work the whole time we were down there so we couldn’t even watch television. It was hard to get ahold of someone because you had to email and wait for a response.

There were no pans to cook with, I asked the hoster and he didn't know what to do, I said I needed to cook and so he sent two pans at 4pm on the second day of my stay! There is no fork in the kitchen! I asked for clean towels on the 3rd day and he said he didn't have them because the employee had already left!!! I was sad because I needed new towels! The part of going down to get my friends bothered me a lot!!! The cooking stuff needs updating… the air conditioning doesn’t work very well! I went through some heat!

The door did not lock and the service from the property management was not acceptable, they would not answer the phone when we called but when we went to the reception desk they would answer to them. The light switches did not look safe and were lose with gaps and we ended up staying elsewhere. We were told we would have a full refund as we were no happy the apartment could be made secure in time for the stay and we had to find an alternative. We have only received a partial refund which is not for the correct value.

Nice building, near by parking not too expensive.

I don't even really know where to start with this review since it was not a great experience. This unit was originally advertised with 1 queen bed and 2 twins (see attached pictures). When we got there, the twins beds had been removed and we did not have enough beds for our group. We contacted the management company and while they did find us another place to stay, it was much further away from Americasmart where we wanted to be and was also right next to a VERY loud interstate so we did not get a lot of sleep. The freezer in our new unit was also not working and although the management company assured us that they had sent someone out and it was working fine, the freezer did not manage to freeze an ice tray in the 3 nights we were there. Booking.com was no help in trying to resolve the situation. They did not respond to our initial message and when we complained later, managed to get a whopping $50 refund from the management company for our extreme inconvenience and extra expense (due to having to uber places we should have been able to walk to). At least I learned to NEVER book private units through booking.com again since you are completely on your own if there are any issues. Stick with VRBO and AirBNB.

Nice for our short 3 day stay. very close to everything. bed was nice. view is absolutely amazing. staff was very welcoming

shower was complicated, only hot water was coming out but we figured it out. wifi wasn’t working but we didn’t need it.
