Luxe Apartments, The Moorwell, Secure Parking, - 10mins Cardiff City Ctr

Apartment was comfortable and spacious. Balcony a nice space to sit and have morning coffee. Kitchen well equipped and the welcome pack of some small essentials a nice touch. Perfect location. Minutes walk to all shops, bars beautiful pier and restaurants. The train to Cardiff is just around the corner and the train to Barry is just another couple minutes walk down the road. Everything was just so convenient.

Location to railway. 3 trains per hour and 10 mins into Cardiff. Having 2 bathrooms was great, showers were very good. Bed was very comfy. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Having the car securely parked in the basement was good.

Sofa was a bit uncomfortable.

All the basics were clean and the location is perfect for driving, taking a taxi or taking train into Cardiff, within 20 minutes of the seaside by walk which is very good and 5 minutes from shops is perfect and covers all! The staff were great and even ran into the owner who seemed great also, if we ever need a place to stay in Cardiff again this will definitely be the first choice!

Only thing I noticed is the heavy build up of dust / cobwebs on the windowsils and around them

Really nice apartment, and location was ideal train station right behind and only 3 stops from Cardiff Central, will definitely book this place again whenever I'm next I'm area

Nothing was to my disliking

Well presented, all the things within that you could need. spacious and clean, great facilities and brilliant host. We will be back!

Nothing we didnt like, the car park is a bit tight when entering but we were warned. It scraped the bottom of my car as its a fairly low to the ground vehicle but the fact it has free parking is great

The apartment is of a modern style and is located at the rear of the property above a gym, with on-site and on-street parking available. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, with another bathroom for the second bedroom. The lounge/kitchen/diner is bright and spacious, with the windows overlooking the railway and Dingle Road station. Although we didn’t do any cooking the kitchen was suitably equipped for our (breakfast) requirements. Transport links are good with both bus and rail services to Cardiff centre within a short walk. Indeed, we didn’t use the car at all during our 4 night stay. A nice walk is from Penrith, along the Cardiff Bay Trail Walk into Cardiff centre. There are shops and plenty of places to eat & drink nearby, including a Wetherspoon. We particularly liked Tony’s Taste of Italy which we thought was exceptionally good.

The on-site car park was a bit tight for larger cars. Slightly odd is that there are only three chairs at the breakfast bar, despite the apartment being promoted for four persons (2 double rooms). Being at the rear of the property there was little to no road noise. However, anyone considering staying at the Luxe Apartments needs to be aware of the noise from the railway, which is significant, especially if the windows need to be open. Fortunately, the railway is only a branch line and so there are no trains from about 11.30pm and 6am.
