The House

Location is perfect, only few meters walking distance from Via Etnea (the main street of the city) but the winw of the bedroom looks to a small quite street and only few cars passed during my stay. There are many food shops, bars and restaurants nearby and the tourists that rented the House can choose between dining out and cooking at home on 4 gaz burners. I liked the interior design very much, it combines elements of an ancient living space - the ceilings are curved, there are old style pattern floor tiles on the floor combines with dark red wood parquet, arches of ancient raw stone masonry form alcoves in the bedroom, the kitchen/dining room amd even in the bathroom. I liked the combination between ancient looking floor tiles and dark red solid wood parket. The bedroom is large, the bed is bid enough and comfortable. The kitchen space is big enough and easy to work in. The kichen is well furnished with all kind of kitchenware, plates, cups, glasses and cutlary. I found the bathroom - shower cabin, sink, dish and bidet - very clean. Part of the wall is cut off and a seat under the shower is formed. The Internet access is provided by Super Fast WiFi home network which worked really good night and day. I definitely will book again The House and I strongly recommend this accommodation to all tourists staying in Catania.

There was hot water all the time but I had to wait few seconds until it started cooling. Anyway I could say this was not embarrassing at all. There is tall dining table in the dining zone with tall bar chairs but I personally would prefer a standard dining table. As this si my personal preference, I don't think it is a defect.

Everything was just fine perfect

The apartment is right in the center, easy access, well-maintained house, close to transport, shops, monuments. Modernly furnished.

The first floor above the bars is really loud, it was impossible to sleep without earplugs.

The aparment was very nice, spacious and clean. Silvio is very kind and helpful host. The location is very good. You are in the centre of Catania, thera are many restaurants, bars and shops. You can walk to main bus station in 15 minutes. And the best thing was everyday local market which is almost at the corner.

Apartment has plenty of space, location is excellent, from the apartment you can easily walk to any place in the old city, it is close to supermarkets to. Staff is very kind and helpful for everything that you need.

We would recommend to put a few shelf's in bathroom for towels and shelf for shampoo in the shower cabin.

Good location, big size (especially for 2 people), washing machine, kitchen

We arrived at 8 PM on the check in day only to find out that apartment was still dirty from previous guests who on top of that heavily smoked in there. Only got the room cleaned by 10 PM which still smelled heavily like cigarettes! Owner of that apartment poorly handled the situation, didn’t provide any refund and wanted to leave us without a place to stay at 10 PM when we asked for refund. Bathroom moldy, and shower head was also broken. Apartment is also located on top of the bar, so it was very loud in the night. And WiFi in the bedroom was non existent, they use the WiFi from the bar downstairs which you could hardly catch
