The place is beautiful with a good size pool area and the host is fantastic.

We weren't keen on Catania as an area however this place was an ideal base and we wished we could have stayed longer. Would have wanted access to Netflix etc

Everything was all set for us when we arrived. The host greeted me the next day in her office and gave me a little tour while sharing the story of the place. She was so lovely! I really wish we could have stayed longer. There were fruits on the property that you could just pick and eat, the swimming pool was a great size, and the room was the highlight of the stay. It had everything you could possibly need, including a working fridge and a small freezer for keeping your drinks cold. I would absolutely recommend this place!!!

Perfect place if you want to relax and unwind in nature. The place is Beautiful and quiet. The pool is nice and the pool is very big. We fell in love with Derreck the dog! He welcomed us and showed us around ❤️ will definitely return :)

The property was beautiful, calm and well laid out for guests, but the biggest attraction of this place is the proprietress, Mati. She’s a former tour operator who simply knows the best way to do everything in the region. Her expertise and warmth make this lovely place an exceptional value.

My children complained that the beds were too hard/thin relative to the other places we’d been staying at in Italy. My wife and I had no complaints about our bed.

Being in contact with nature, breathing fresh and clean air. The cleanliness not only of the apartment but of all the surrounding areas. The pool was kept in immaculate condition always very clean. The courtesy of the host Marty, always super helpful, very kind ready to assist us with our requests. And last but not least the oranges we were allowed to pick and eat were delicious.

There is nothing not to like. This property is superb, we cannot wait to visit again!

15 mins from Catania airport in a beautiful location. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning brilliant and we were provided with a kitchenette area with fridge/microwave and hob . The shower was hot (it’s the small things that matter 😊). The location was close to the airport with endless orange groves in a peaceful setting. The swimming pool was a welcome addition after a day travelling and Terre Del Cardinale is ideally located to access main roads to visit all the beautiful areas Sicily has to offer. Mathilde was always on hand to help recommend places to visit and answer questions . Thanks also to Santo for helping inflate our car tyre. Thankyou so much , Stephanie and Giuseppe.

Nothing to dislike .

The property was a oasis from the chaotic Catania. Coming on the property was such a breath of fresh air. The hostess Mati was charming and gracious. She made our stay so comfortable, meeting all of our requests. We are happy that we decided to stay at this property. We have been traveling Italy for almost a month and this is on the top of my list of great properties. I highly recommend this property. Having a vehicle is best for this property.

We had a wonderful time at Terre del Cardinale. The room was great, the yard and the pool were magical. You can pick up oranges, tangerines and lemons right from the trees. On the tables there were fresh hot peppers in pots which you can pick with your food. Location is outside Catania with peace and quiet, we even saw wild bunnies hopping around. With a car it’s really easy to go to the center or any other tourist location nearby, Taormina, Siracusa, Etna. And then you have the host Matilde, a wonderful person which gave us great tips for restaurants and sightseeing. She even booked us a table for a lovely restaurant in the heart of Catania. We were there for 3 days with my wife and kid and we are definitely going there again sometime soon. Thank you for the everything Mati and see you soon.
