Excellent location and easy to get to Cologne city center. Very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. Communication was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Everything was as described

Very nice apartment, and the owner was very friendly and stayed in contact with me before, during, after our stay to make sure all questions were answered. We forgot a watch when we left and the owner very kindly find it and post it back to us too! So very grateful for that additional service, thankyou Marion.

Just to be aware that there’s no elevator in the building, only stairs, and no aircon.

Marion was an exceptional host. She made contact about 1-2 weeks before we arrived and provided very detailed information about where the apartment is and how to get the key. Do follow her advice regarding the SATNAV and put in Arnsberger instead to guide you there safely. The apartment is exactly like the photos, and contains everything you could want/need, even has extras if your forget something e.g. tooth paste. There are also a selection of food/drink in the fridge you can buy for very reasonable prices, e.g. 500ml beer for 1.50 Euros. She was also very helpful in finding out where to buy the low emission green sticker for the car as the one I had ordered had not arrived in time before we left. She also checked in on us during our stay to check if we needed anything. The apartment is very close to the trams/buses to get into the centre very easily. We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again! :-)

These are not dislikes, but more to make other travellers aware if you didn't know: 1. The apartment is on the 4th floor, which if you have younger kids is a lot of stairs and there is no lift. 2. If you drive, you will need a Cologne green sticker for the apartment as it is in the clean air zone, but this can be bought at TUV just down the road for 15 euros. 3. If you drive a larger car (we had a long estate), then it can be tricky to find a car parking spot near the apartment, although they are free. 4. In hot weather the apartment is warm, no AC, but there are fans in each room to help.

That was absolutely great apartment where you really feel cared by the host. Loved a lot the location and if I am in Cologne again - that is the place to stay for me.

The facilities at the property were good and as publicised. All met our needs.

We were not aware that the apartment was on the fourth floor and was therefore not convenient to take our suitcases up. The area in which the apartment is situated was not very appealing and required a metro ride from central Cologne.

The place was great. It was clean and fully stocked. The host had added small touches to make us feel welcome. For the price, it's very reasonable and value for money

The apartment is very well equipped, spacious and offers everything you need for your trip. The S bahn stop, which takes you to the Cathedral in less than 10 minutes, and the tram stop are nearby.
