The owner

The apartment was wonderful. It had everything we could have wanted. The wifi for us was very good. Great location in a suburban area. Cafe across the road had great coffee. It was 10-15 min walk down to the University, old and new Cathedrals and the river. There is a walk back up the hill but it’s worth it for the location. Our host gave us lots of recommendations, very helpful. Free parking on the street was a bonus.

Nothing. It really was perfect.

Modern appartment accessible by lift. Plenty of free parking available on street. Comfortable, large and quiet. Helpful host greeted us.

Owner failed to show up. Fortunately a housekeeper in the apartment building called the owner for us and she sent her daughter. It kind of put a damper on the start of the stay.

fantastic location. just 10 minutes to the botanical gardens, 15 to the university and 20 to the downtown area.

sorry to say the internet was weak. I had to change all of my video calls to audio because kept getting disconnected.

The apartment is cute and the rooms are spacious. I especially like the marble kitchen countertops.The location is about 15 minutes walk to the college and 20 minutes to the town. There is plenty of street parking, and there are two supermarkets in 5 to 10 minutes' walk. The two space heaters kept the place warm enough, even on cold nights.

I suggest changing the shower curtain to a shorter one, since it hangs too far into the tub. Also the current arrangement of the showerhead makes it implossible to angle the water down into the shower. I suggest changing to a different model.The restaurants downstairs got noisy on weekend nights, but closing windows blocked most of the sound.

Very comfortable, well-maintained apartment with plenty of space, within reasonable walking distance of the University of Coimbra. The area is quiet and there are couple of supermarkets and restaurants that are also within walking distance. The opener, Isabel, is most hospitable and attentive. Her suggestions for places to see were most appreciated.
