Apartment mit schöner, moderner Einrichtung

I loved the fact I could cook and have my meals there. the place for one person is good, more than that is not enough. The owner makes herself available on WhatsApp if you need anything.

When you first get there there’s a staircase making it difficult if you have luggage (my case). There’re household utensil but it’s not too clean. I wanted to use the kettle and it was super dirty (I gave up). The heater wasn’t working.

The property was cozy and had pretty much everything that was needed. All appliances were new. Above all cleanliness was top notch. Hostess was friendly and was just a call/text away for any help..Really appreciate it 😊

Wi-Fi range was not good. It was on and off. That was the only cons.

I liked the no-frills easy contact with the host, who reached out herself about arrival times, was friendly and helpful. The apartment had most basic needs including kitchen equipment. Great for a short stay and for cooking simple meals. The apt is in a very quiet residential area, but shops, bakeries and restaurants are within moderate walking distance (up to 1 km away). Easy access to Cologne as well (about 30 minutes by public transport)

Kitchen and bathroom (shower and toilet) were reasonably clean, but I had to use the available vacuum cleaner to get rid of hairs and dust on the floor. For me personally more important was the lack of a working-height table (for computer work). Depends on your needs I suppose.

The owner was really lovely and friendly, also easily reachable. The apartment itself was well equipped with everything you could need plus some basic supplies such as salt, pepper, tea and coffee and so on. It was in a quiet and secure area and entry to the property was easy to find. Overall, it was a comfortable and clean stay.

It was about 1km walk away from the train station, which is ok during the day without baggage but during the evening the path is not lit and included a short distance on dirt roads which might be tricky during wetter weather and in the dark due to the slippery mud.
