Lägenheten såg bra ut, exakt som på bilden mysigt sovrum.

Det finns inte badrumshandduk, ingen disktrasa, ingen handduk i köket. Kvavt luft i lägenheten fick hålla fönster öppna. Tv funkar inte står på tyska.

There was only 1roll toilet paper and there should have been more. There was no towel paper in the kitchen. There were only 2 bath towels for a 3 night stay and 2 adults and 1 child. Also no hand wash towels.

Great location.

No air-conditioning, the curtains were not very secure, and not enough toilet roll provided.

Spacious living room with a TV

The apartment is not easy to find. I couldn’t find it so tried to ring the owner but there was no answer for an hour which meant I had to stay outside for an hour. They even knew what time I would be arriving and still had no one available. Dirty dishes, there is no fan or aircon, the bathroom shower was dirty, the cutlery was dirty, the bed was not comfy. The WiFi and electricity went down when I was staying there and took a day to turn back on. I complained to the host and they said they would give me a refund, I have followed up about this and now they just read and ignore my texts. I wouldn’t stay here even for a low price. Really don’t make the same mistake that I did.

Location is the best thing of this apartment! It's in the inner city center, close to station and shopping

Pillows are horrible - requested the other ones but owner said that i'm not at the hotel with pillow service?! Had neck issues first morning and rest of staying. Chairs are crushed, curtains falling down each time you open the window. Missing dishware so prepare not to have meal prepared at appartment. Missing microwave and also some accessories for kitchen. Also, if you request for sofa to be made as a bed, you will just need to do it by yourself. Just one towel per person, and no machine for washing so, bring your own towels.

Cologne is a pleasant and walkable city and so it wasn't actually so important to be in the centre on a noisy street, the Belgian Quarter would be somewhere we would like to stay next time. We liked being able to walk everywhere and didn't need to use the trams or buses.

The apartment was quite noisy at the front and back for most of the time and can be stuffy in hot weather. Regarding pricing I think Booking.com should encourage owners to not add extras such as invoices if you forget to empty the dishwasher.
