Terrazza Silena, centro storico con vista Cortona!

The apartment was beautiful, well appointed and comfortable. The weather was a bit cool so we were unable to take full advantage of the deck to sit and have a drink looking at the view, but it was nice. It was also easy to get to and well located on what I would say is the main shipping street.

Lots of stairs but that’s Cortona and was expected

The flat is right in the centre of town but because the bedroom is at the back it’s really quiet at night, and the bed was amazing. So comfortable! The place was super-clean, well equipped for cooking, and had a nice sitting area, and Alessandro the host was really responsive and helpful. And of course the highlight is the wonderful terrace overlooking the rooftops. Fabulous!

Nice central location, well equipped and clean with a dishwasher and washing machine with cleaning products provided. Seating area has a comfy sofa. Nice sized outside terrace with lovely views. Large bedroom with plenty of storage and large comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with good sized shower. Smart TV so that you can use your own streaming services and good internet. Alessandro helped us upstairs with our bags and gave us a good introduction to the apartment..

There are a lot of stairs to climb to reach the apartment on the 5th floor although you do then feel very safe. Also a few steps up from the bedroom to the bathroom. There are low beams in a few places and you do have to be careful with your head.

We fell in love with the apartment and with Cortona of course. The apartment was amazing, one of the best we have been in Italy. It really made our staying enjoyable and even a bit luxurious. The apartment has magic! I think we have to come to visit Cortona again some day just to get to live those days in this apartment again. The roof terrace is amazing, everything is clean and every detail has made with a thought. Loved it!

This beautiful terrace apartment was right in the middle of town with easy access to cafes, restaurants and shops. It has been fabulously upgraded recently but it still has the historic charm and ageless details of Cortona. I would gladly stay here again.

We walked a lot while in Cortona. Everything is up hill! This charming apartment is in the fourth floor terrace. The climb wasn’t too bad but after a long day, I was grateful for the beautiful view from the terrace…it was all worth it.

The property did not allow us to leave our huge rucksacks on the under-stairs storage. We roamed around the city with all the heavy bags on us.

A fantastic apartment in a great location. Right on the Main Street, the apartment made exploring the town so easy. Everything was clean and tidy and the beds were v comfortable (I’d say medium firmness). Pillows were many and comfy too. There are 3 flights of stairs from the entry so for any who have mobility difficulties or are challenges by walking 3 flights of stairs this may be a deterrent. The host was very accomodating and helped organise a car ti collect me but also provided links to the bus schedule. If arriving by train, you arrive in Camucia so will have to get a car or bus into Cortona which sits on top of a hill. It’s a really beautiful town!
