Ferny Hill Retreat, Emerald Victoria

Carmel is an friendly and courteous host. There have been ample amount of thoughts and heart put in this property. The rooms and garden are well decorated. Plenty of small toys and books for kids. Plenty of option for continental breakfast. Highly recommended.

The property itself is absolutely beautiful and has a fairy garden. A giant swing a fire pit area and many beautiful art installations. The house is beautiful inside with a Parisian feel. Caramel the host was absolutely amazing and greeted me and was very informative. Very personable person, even gave instructions for feeding the birds and cats if I wanted to. There is also an echidna named Eddie/Edwina that lives in the garden unfortunately, I didn’t get to see him/her .

We loved the peaceful location and having the garden to explore and relax in, and watching the birds. The bathroom is beautiful. The breakfast was amazing too. We only stayed one night and wish we had longer.

We do many little stays away for a re -fresh. This was by far a favourite! Comfortable sleep, every detail was appreciated. Nothing is missed, gorgeous place. Games to play, so much to read and look at. Beautiful surroundings, on this property and the surrounding area. Carmel was a delight and so informative. Absolutely added to our experience. Highly recommend a visit 👌 The water features were as peaceful as feeding the birds. Wonderful weekend !

Good bread and eggs for breakfast. Plenty of crockery and cookware. Friendly host. Nice setting’ pretty garden.

We loved the whole place, very welcoming and comfortable, beautiful surroundings and we really enjoyed the birds feeding and the swing. Perfect for our weekend away.

All the extras that were available for use, lots of towels, blankets and food and condiments.
