Ferny Hill Retreat, Emerald Victoria

It’s very stylish and well equipped. You will want for nothing. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet escape where everything has been thought of.

We had nice stay at Carmel's place, nice breakfast, complete kitchen, comfie bed, artsy personal touch, beautiful colour theme, interesting knick knack, friendly host, and Carmel provided everything you need for comfortable accommodation. She told us about interesting items in her drawers and we had fun browsing through feel like treasure hunts.

A beautiful property in the Dandenong Ranges. The unit has a bedroom with separate kitchen and living room. All beautifully appointed with comfortable furniture and artwork. The kitchen is very well equipped, including oven and cooktop - plenty to truly self cater if you want to. There is a private courtyard with table and chairs and a larger shared garden. Located in a secluded pocket of Emerald with plenty of birdlife to enjoy. The host is an extremely friendly and accommodating person. A delight.

Carmel created such a lovely space, full of thoughtful details. It is visually very beautiful with lots of artful decorations. The place had everything we could wish for and more, from Netflix in both rooms to breakfast supplies to spare toiletries in case you forget something. Wish we could stay longer!

Phone reception was a little sketchy, but that was OK used to that

Communication as very easy. It was easy to find, and Carmel quickly gave us a run down on the place. Emerald itself is lovely. You can walk down to a small local lake or drive into town or to Emerald lake. We ate at a lovely South Indian place in Belgrave, but there seem to be good eating options in Emerald too.
