Wintersun Holiday Cottages

The location was spectacular - across the road from the beach, peaceful and picturesque. It had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. There were games to play and DVDs, although the DVD player wasn't working. It was clean and comfortable.

The shower is tiny, but not a big problem.

Great location for exploring the north side of KI or just lazing in the sun on Emu beach. Handy for the shops in Kingscote but far enough to feel like you’re away from it all. Kids loved having the beach and playground just across a very quiet road. The house was small, but comfortable for the 3x adults and 2x kids.

I had to wash the cutlery before use as food was on them, and the dinner plates weren't cleaned. Needed to wash items before use. There was no vacuum cleaner only a broom, missing light fittings, the shower was not big enough and leaks at the base. Don't think the floor rug had been moved and cleaned as there was sand under it when I swept the floor. Needs a bit of TLC and good clean before booking out. The lounge seats could be replaced, as the fabric is worn. The nightlight had no globe, that should be checked before next guests are booked in.

Very spacious and everything was catered for!

The DVD player cord was frayed so couldn’t watch a movie. It wasn’t really an issue though!

Great location,pet friendly,lots of information beforehand,comfortable and clean,good bed,good array kitchen utensils and facilities.

Excellent location. The night light in the bathroom. Great idea in such a dark area. Well appointed kitchen. Just a great little place.

The air conditioner made a very strange noise on start up but settled once it got going.
