The location no complaints as it is a prime spot of Alysham.

The overall cleanliness in bathroom was not so good photos provided. A shower for this price should not be in this state. The toilet seat needs refixing. Also kettle should be checked and cleaned for build up of limescale. I just feel for a premium price this should not be happening or missed by checks. Its just the detail here and I do feel this is unacceptable. Fresh silicone and a good scrub in shower. UPDATE! Firstly for your poor feedback to my review I'm only interested in my stay not someone from a previous night/day. Accussing me of breaking a bedside table lamp that I never used! The photos I have uploaded clearly show room checks are not done. So how do you not know this was broken before????? Secondly you sent one text asking for photos which I may add are on here for display!! Mould and limescale is clearly an acceptable standard for a £145 stay??? Again your response is poor. I have been fair in my review take it on board and do something about it. Instead of blaming the customer for breaking things to warrant your reply. Bad customer service from you and clearly unapproachable with criticism

Beautiful hotel. Clearly a labour of love and wonderful to stay in a building with local history. Quiet and peaceful despite being in the town centre. Lots of great food and drink options nearby.

Very charming and well decorated room. Easy to work the codes for entry.

Nothing major. Very tiny wardrobe, hardly any space to hang our party clothes and coats. Only 2 hangers provided. One of the lights not working making it quite dark to do hair. Area in bathroom small to do makeup. No bathrobes which would have been a nice touch for the price.

"A good find but the place needs some snagging to reach its own expectations."

Excellent decor and very comfortable and in a great location.

The shower temperature was variable and our room had a locked door to a second room with bunk beds. This felt like we weren't trusted not to pile in with extra people and was rather unnecessary. Also the bedside drawers were very tricky to use - more for decoration than utility. Also - Aylsham closes on Tuesday evenings!
