Great location of the apartments, all the necessary amenities inside, what else do you need? Next time we go to Sicily, we will definitely stay in Catania and choose this apartment!

It is a uniquely designed and well decorated 2-level studio apartment with a fully functional kitchen. The room is comfortable and clean, with everything functional. We love the fact that we have the entire space to ourselves. The host, Gabriele, greeted us upon check-in, introduced details of the property, and provided valuable recommendations on the foods and the places to visit. There is a bar next door serving quality snacks and desserts with good prices. Multiple supermarkets nearby. Both the center of Catania and the central train station are ~15 minutes by foot. Gabriele was very responsive through WhatsApp and offered help when we needed.

We felt insufficient natural light inside the apartment.

Mattress was too thin, the bathroom door didn’t close properly and the hot water capacity is too small so you have to wait half an hour to shower between persons

No cons

Owner was very accommodating & (understands English) as we realized we were going to arrive late. This was no problem as they simply left keys in a dish at the reception so we could let ourselves into our room. Breakfast was good served the next morning in a nice sunroom overlooking their rooftop garden space; better breakfast than most B&B's all over Sicily (included boiled eggs, sliced meats, pastries, toast, juices and choice of beverages (coffee/cappuccino/tea/water). Pleasant, smiling, welcoming service in very comfortable place.

Since we don't speak Italian, nor Sicilian it was challenging trying to make arrangements very late at night by phone (unexpectedly arrived after 11pm due to delayed flight) as taxis don't stop at Taxi stands on the main street nearby. A very nice, kind, local young couple who were pretty fluent in English went out of their way to help us call a taxi (not that the taxi ever found us), call this B&B to make arrangements with the owner/operator and even walked us to this B&B. Follow the recommendation of the owner & just walk, it's simpler and not too bad even if you are very tired & older. You will need an Italian Sim card for data (directions) to get there as we had a few turns to make & no local map, but not far & safe area, maybe 10-15 min. walk (& I have knee problems so slower than most esp. with a full backpack on, we're in our mid-60's).

A cute, quirky little flat, well located. Walking distance to the train and bus stations. Amenities- bakery, bar, supermarket- very close by.
