Our family, including our fur baby, enjoyed every moment of this stay. It was a soulful escape from JHB and the host added little touches and decor that added to the winter getaway charm. The host was the sweetest - and made every step of a the process a memorable one. Truly a bliss in Clarens.

The house was comfortable. Everything you could possibly need was available.

Only the road leading up to the complex. Gravel road and in bad shape. Note that all the roads in Clarens are in poor condition.

The property had solar back up if we lost electricity supply which is great. Everything worked well.

Spar bathroom - Did not drain water normally and we had to shower in a pool of water.

The garden for dogs was great. The fire place was appreciated too. Good access to most ammeneties. Plenty of mugs for coffee was a plus for us!!!

Perhaps suggest a sign to visitors that the tap water is not to be used for drinking and a little firewood for the first night. one or two kitchen utensils appliances amiss but otherwise very comfortable.
