We prefer to travel with our dog, and this property was 100% suitable and safe for this purpose. Usually, dog friendly accommodation will be less "fancy", but this property was beautiful and well decorated and equipped. Coming from Gauteng, I felt save within this white picked-fenced property

The location

The geyser didn't work, we had cold water 90% of the 3 days we stayed in winter!!!!

The location is great. Just around the corner from the town centre. The fire place warms the entire living area. The kitchen is well stocked with most utensils. All the beds have an electric blanket. The sun warms the patio quite nicely.

We were moved to Paddocks 13 and not 21 which we’d booked. The exterior was still being re-plastered which took away from the aesthetic although the interior was fine. Superficially it looks quite clean but we soon discovered there was cat fur in almost all the blankets, chairs and carpet. The electric blanket in the main bedroom did not work, and the bedrooms get quite cold at night. We were there during winter.

The house was spectacular. The view itself was better than we ever could’ve hoped for! The electric blankets were a really good bonus for those extra cold nights

The fireplaces the braai room warm beds. Nice kitchen and the private garden for the pet.

Everything was perfect. Super clean and comfortable.

Great cosy accomodation with all the required amenities including a fire place, heated blankets and built in braai for the chilly Clarens evenings.

Road leading to the cottage was in poor condition. Manageable by car, but not ideal
