Gilda e Vesuvio

Great location, super friendly and warm welcome, everything what you need was present in the apartment even a washing machine! Liked in particular the shower! One of the best ones we had on the road trip so far.

The airco was limited to 25 degrees. This is following Italian law restrictions. I was very surprised, as this was and still is the first restricted one I have seen so far. From what I have read on internet this restriction was also valid until previous April (but I can be wrong). For this reason we needed to sleep with the windows open, which isn’t a big deal for me but unfortunately there was no protection against flies and mosquitos present. In short it was choosing between getting bitten or getting baked. I need to say this was the only downside in the apartment, the rest was top!

We were in constant communication with Daniela and she had Giovanna meet us at the entrance. Both ladies were very nice and helped us become acquainted with the apartment with all the appliances. Overall, a very nice stay.

Nice little apartment near the area we spent our time. Friendly host who showed us everything at check-in. The request to make an extra bed was quickly fulfilled. Its nice to have AC in the summer. Multiple bus stops and supermarkets are in walking distance. Will consider this again for my next stay.

The apartment is somewhat plain and the kitchen could use some extra items. I think with a few pictures on the wall it would look a lot nicer and the kitchen could use some extra amenities (like a toaster or kettle, a drying rack for plates and there was only one glass for wine).
