Luxury Ocean View 2 Bed Apartment 259 Eden on the Bay, Blouberg, Cape Town

We had the most incredible stay in this very homey apartment, well situated and with lovely sunsets and calming ocean breaking to soothe the soul. Loved the warm almost bohemian interior. The beds were very comfortable with enough warm blankets and enjoyed having the washing machine and dryer to keep our laundry fresh. The smart box fitted on the tv was great enabling us to sign in to Netflix dstv YouTube etc and fast wifi with good coverage. Kitchen well equipped, nice big fridge, and serving dishes/dining extras which makes eating in a pleasure. Ideally located for privacy and reasonably clean. We will definitely be back for another amazing late winter visit.

There was a slightly pungent smell from when we arrived that I could not quite get rid of, the broom cupboard smelling like the braai was perhaps cleaned with the cleaning equipment/broom etc dirty

The location, proximity to the beach and some Shops,

The lack of freshness when U enter the apartment, not sure why, but when we entered we had to open windows and doors to allow for fresh air circulation

Size, extra bathroom. Clean. Modern finishes

Too clinical perhaps. No handsoap, no salt and pepper, no floor cloths, no washing powder. Unfortunately the lift broke twice and the tumble dryer had to be fixed, but it was done expediently. ✔️

Place in a in lively yet relaxing area, with easy access to the sea. Very nice views.

Apartment not well maintained & cleaned. Host did not reply messages/calls or come to help with things we needed assistance on. We stayed for 6 nights and last saw him when he delivered keys. Apartment was dirty, the single bed was unstable and shaky, living room blinds falling off, old worn out sheets in main bedroom, dirty mini blankets on coach etc. Its seems host knew about all these problems, hence he ignored messages.

Lovely, spacious apartment. Has everything you need and is very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Very modern and functional. Nice balcony with a good gas braai. Parking is easy and safe. Would recommend
