It's an extraordinary place — within ancient palaces. The apartment is likely set up in what used to be the servants' quarters. But the feeling of living there is incomparable. Such an experience is truly unique.

The quality of the furnishings is one of the poorest I've ever seen. It's hard to believe that the cheapest, worn-out IKEA furniture is placed on 300-year-old clay tile floors. But that doesn't matter at all. Don't forget your earplugs, as the sounds in the narrow stone street echo like in a well, and at night, it feels like the party is happening in the very room you're sleeping in. A lot of steep, narrow stairs. But all of that is just minor details compared to the uniqueness of the place.

The only one positive thing is the location in the center of the old town.

The apartment is like a cell in a monastery. Wifi didn't work 3 days out of 4. The owners didn't even bother to respond to complaints.

The service was fantastic, very attentive and flexible. Great communication and helped with my requests. The flat was well situated, just down the road from the Funicolare and all the wonderful sights of Cittá Alta, with a bonus garden out back. I wish they'd mentioned the Palace to which it is attached as well. What a welcome surprise!! It's cosy if a little on the basic side, but well-supplied with amenities and appliances. It's the perfect vantage point from which to immerse yourself in the best of Bergamo. I would return again.

Nobody was available at check out to answer some queries, not a big issue, but I would have appreciated somewhere to store my suitcases before I went to the airport.

A large apartment with washing machines, perfect for small family. location is great, very close to the old town area and a bus stop which takes you to/from the new city area and train station

Needs to climb 3 levels of stairs to get to the apartment

Location is perfect, just within the città alta but close to the city gate and easy to access all the restaurants, cafes, and bars of città bassa

since the apartment is located within an old palazzo, the walls are quite thick and it occasionally got a little chilly but was overall not a problem and likely even a bonus in the summer months

We enjoyed museum garden and house free for nt members. Two minutes to shops

Work on building but we were out most of the time
