Very small bedroom ( probably my fault for not checking ) Kitchen dirty Poor bathroom facilities, bath with hand held shower

Really nice and clean I love the location

The location is fantastic, it is so characterful, easy to walk into the city and very quiet. There is good space for a couple with a child and the welcome provisions were a lovely and thoughtful touch!

The bathroom door isn't too private due to a gap as it slides along. I guess if everyone is respectful when using it then it's ok but I think that needs attention. The property needs a better clean I would say. We found bits and bobs under and around furniture from previous guests.

The property was historic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The main bedroom was large and had a pretty glass chandelier that was quite dim so we used the nightstand lights to see well enough to pack. The second bedroom was TINY but was OK for 1 person to sleep. My sister-in-law could touch both walls when laying on the bed! The kitchen was small by American standards, but very functional. A helpful binder of information was provided, including a manual for the coffee maker. Many K-cup coffee pods were provided, plus there were paper towels and dish soap and everything we needed. Other apartments that we rented were not nearly so generous. The apartment was a 5-10 minute walk from the City Walls and City Center, and a 10 minute walk to the train station. An excellent location on a quiet street. The TV worked fine once we tightened the cables. We were surprised to see champagne, crumpets and a dozen roses when we arrived! We left the champagne and roses for the next guests.

The bathroom didn't have any place for toiletries, so we put our toiletries in the bathtub! Perhaps the owners will add floating shelves on the wall next to the sink. The huge bathtub didn't have a shower so we had to sit or crouch in the bathtub and wash ourselves with one hand using the handheld water wand/sprayer. Doable but not convenient. I don't think the radiator in the bathroom was working, but it's possible that we needed to use more force to turn the control. The stairs were not suitable for someone with balance issues, but we were fine even though we are in our 70s.

Great location. Owners were fantastic. Key snapped off and we got locked out. Owners were there in 15 minutes

Unfortunately it was not very clean. Pillows smelt disgusting cause there was no pillow protector. Quilt had stain on it. Floors and fridge were dirty.
