Great location- quiet street, close to the park, close to shops and take aways. Really great. The house itself has lots of personality and was very charming. Also, despite it being an older house, we barely heard any noise from the street outside. Hosts were very helpful and great with their communication.

It's an old house- a few bits here and there could've been fixed up a little. But this didn't really affect our stay. Also, no shower. I assume the listing doesn't MENTION a shower, so not accusing anyone of dishonesty, but this is the first accommodation I've stayed in without a shower, so it was a bit of a surprise. But we got used to it, wasn't a big deal.

A fabulous stay right in the centre of Chester, location couldn't be better. Despite being so close to the centre, the street was very quiet which was nice. Lovely property, lovely hosts and I would happily stay again. Highly recommended.

Have stayed in Chester many a time and this property is by far the best for location! 5 minute walk from train station, 2 minutes into town and 5 minutes to canal!

Property was really well decorated, however could have been cleaner! Simple things missed like hair behind bed, dusty skirting boards, broken toilet seat.

This is a charming and comfortable old terrace in a terrific location near restaurants, pubs, main shopping street and train station. Despite its close proximity to everything it's very quiet. It's well equipped with everything needed for a short or longer stay. The main bedroom is spacious and comfortable. The hosts are fabulous, providing excellent instructions for entry, a welcome pack and are happy to respond to questions.

Bathroom and staircase would be challenging for people with mobility issues.

Absolutely gorgeous property. Right in the heart of Chester but not at all noisy. Spacious downstairs.

Second bedroom is tiny but still very comfortable.

Really filthy, kitchen and bathroom floors had not been washed or mopped and I had to wash them myself properly on my hands and knees. Carpet in dining room filthy and tattered with rips (just throw it out). Food still stuck in the kitchen sink, Walls had handprints on them and were in a sorry state of disrepair. Nothing had been painted properly for years Dust on bedside table. It's possible the owner doesn't live in the area and the cleaner is simply not cleaning but no one checks.
