Good for our two night stay, handy pub over the road with meals

Tea bag and milk would have been nice, nothing left to shower with

Great location for what we needed. Property was as described and getting keys was a simple process. Having the pub just across the road was an advantage as was Old Coats Cafe for breakfast.

We stayed when it was very warm and we needed to sleep with the windows open and the traffic noise was more than we anticipated.

Overall really nice stay and enough communication from the host to help us feel comfrotable. Nice rural location. All kitchen and living essentials are provided. Would stay again.

We stayed in the cottage closest to the main busy road and you can definitely hear the road noise. Although we made this worse for ourselves by having the windows open in the afternoon and early evening due to the sweltering temperatues during our June stay. Only constructive feedback I would give is that the interior is looking a tad tired in places and could be refreshed. Granted this is my personal opinion , but I want to be honest with my feedback - noted it may not bother some people. For example, freestanding shower door is missing and replaced with a shower curtain. Freezer door latch broken , so door is held together with a piece of wire. Toilet flush button could do with replacing as intermittently it gets stuck. Old fridge struggled to cool things in the hot weather during our stay in June. Wallpaper in 2nd bedroom peeling, although we were informed by the owner on arrival that this was the case and that it had only just happened.

The hoast Sue was extremely welcoming and helpful. We felt very much at home.

Occasional road noise from traffic and particularly the motor bikes.
