The apartment was clean, comfortable and with a view to volcano. Locatated 20 mins away from La Fortuna center however there are shops and restaurants nearby. Host was quite pleasant however doesn't speak english.

The apartments are attached next to the shop and it did get quite noisy at times. Few cockroaches like to came out at night in the bathroom.

Great location. A whole private unit with small kitchen (including fridge) and air conditioner (essential in the hot climate). Secure parking. Everything very clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Easy check in process. Attached to a small shop for any needs.

Cheap Location is somewhat close to most attractions in the area Next to host's grocery store Kitchen is a plus

She made me pay the booking.com commission. I don't think we are supposed to pay hosts fees. I showed her my booking.com app and she showed me hers. The difference was the commission fee. It was about $10-13 total for two nights so I didn't care much as I had a long day, was super tired and wanted to check in ASAP. I usually don't let these things go Bathroom really smells, and one or two roaches on shower wall - not the end of the world....no shampoo, only a small soap bar - also no big deal for me...and finally the NOISE is unbearable. Noise from everywhere, from unit nextdoor, I can hear them flush toilet and their talk. Noise from the store next to the unit. And noise from every car/ motorcycle passing in the small busy road in front of the unit Noise from store ends at 9pm and starts again 7AM Noise from unit nextdoor ends when your neighbors stop talking and sleep. Noise from cars and people walking down the road never ends

Very clean. The street can be noisy, but quieted down late at night.

The room was very comfortable. Good location. We had a nice stay!

Kitchen + AC

Was a little apartment that had all you would need for a short stay. Very close to downtown La Fortuna and numerous restaurants within walking distance.

The tile flooring is slippery when wet, it's not luxurious by any means but will meet your basic needs.
