Fantastic view from the roof balcony, absolutely amazing. On the spot you can find a parking place, which was very useful. Apartment well equipped, we were only two, however there is enough space for 4 persons. Grocery store, cofee very close to the apartment. Truly recommend 👌

Great location in Funchal - attic type conversion with a roof top balcony so you had a great view of Funchal. The property was right on a bus route and a 2 min walk from the shop so even without a rental car it was extremely well located for anybody limited to a bus. Jose was extremely accomodating and helpful and we could not have asked for more in a host - great communication and support.

Cooking was limited as there was no oven - only an electric hob, but if you plan to eat out a lot in Funchal this will not be a problem!

Great value for money accommodation! The apartment was just as shown in the pictures. Perfect for a family of 4 or a group of friends. The view from the roof terrace of the house is stunning. Quiet and peaceful, separate part of the family house. The 2 separate toilets are practical. The host, Jose was very friendly and helpful, he took care of any problems. Parking is a little tricky, but Jose explained that very well too. The local shop is about a 3-minute walk away, and a larger shopping center (Madeira Shopping) is a 5-minute drive away. There is a bus stop right in front of the house, from where we easily got into the center of Funchal.

In cooler weather, the house is very drafty, and the stove cannot fully heat the apartment. We had to ask extra blankets, but even then we were not completely comfortable. An instruction manual for the stove would be useful. It would be worth airing the apartment more often when not in use. The electrical network is not completely stable, the fuse kept tripping while using several devices.

Comfortable bed and clean property with most necessities needed. Stunning view from the rooftop. Host is responsive and helpful. We had a great stay.

Demanding parking place, but that is mostly everywhere in Funchal.

Elevated position with the most stunning roof terrace with panoramic views over Funchal. Enjoyed a glass of wine 🍷 watching the night draw in. Spacious, clean, airy apartment with a lovely covered outdoor terrace too. And we loved the wood chip stove 🔥 The apartment is in the roof of the family home but very private. Jose is a fabulous host. And we had an amazing holiday. 🥳

Parking was a bit tricky but we soon got the hang of it. Jose was on hand to help 😀
