Bela Vista

Comodo appartamento con terrazza davvero deliziosa che è stata teatro delle nostre cene al tramonto. Posizione relativamente comoda, vicina alla strada principale perciò perfetta per i nostri spostamenti.

Tienes que tener un coche con potencia para poder subir al alojamiento (generalmente en todo Madeira, hay muchísimas cuestas)

Lovely host who was able to pick up and drop at airport [ for a fee] and helpful lady living downstairs. Able to self cater with all necessary equipment. Cosy terrace with view of the city and sea.

Hot water erratic, difficult to guarantee a hot shower or washing up except by boiling a kettle. Had to buy our own toiletries as some were missing despite being advertised as provided. Absolutely essential to get to know the no. 29 bus timetable, which stops very near. Funchal hills are *fierce* !

It was near the botanical garden and the cable lift to Monte. The host Bela was very nice and we are also offered a car rental for a good price. Beautiful view of Funchal from the terrace.

Parking is almost full in the evening.
