Monumental Plaza by Petit Hotels

Close to all restaurants, 30 min walk to city, and close to grocery store. Staff was very service-minded and helped us store our luggage.

To noicy to be on balcony due to traffic on street.

Very comfortable and convenient stay with everything we needed and friendly staff to help us. Very clean and all the right amenities. Lovely stay and perfect for our needs.

The street is a little loud, but it's fine when the doors are closed. Also the parking lot navigation is a bit tight, but it was nice to not have to look for parking!

Convenient for everything going into Funchal and the Lido. Had everything i needed.

The main road is obviously very busy/noisy.

Staff were friendly and professional, check in easy, room comfortable. We liked that you could go and have buffet breakfast at nearby hotel for discount price. Good location for walking everywhere but a little noisy because it's on main road with buses constantly passing by.

They ask for a cash deposit which is unheard of these days. Seems the hot water is not enough for everyone cause they ask not to take long showers at check in. plus the cyclinder makes squeaky noise. Our tv was not working well, was blury (we told staff). Our bathroom had quiet a few hairs on arrival. It would be nice to have some olive oil for guests who want to cook. Bathroom needs hooks, no where to hang towels to dry.

Great apartment for my stay in Madeira. The host Dalia was very kind and helpful. The apartment is luxurious, clean and modern, having all the amenities I needed (kettle, toaster, AC, etc). I loved I was able to get my own parking space in the private car park, this way I could start the day easily in the morning going to all the various locations on the island. There is a big supermarket Pingo Doce closeby and plenty of restaurants. The bus stop is right in front to get to the old center of Funchal within 15 minutes.
