We were stunned and amazed by the quality of the furnishings and equipment in the apartment. We loved the paintings, the view, the space, the little balcony for coffee. We were glad of the security. There is a lively cafe next that never seems to close . It is a short walk to the town centre, although quite a steep walk back up. While in town we suggest you look in at ‘Bazar do Povo’, which is a really quirky department store where the souvenirs are half the price of anywhere else.

We had no complaints.

Rustig, dicht bij oude stadscentrum, proper, prima douche, goede bedden, kook basics (olie, peper/zout) en beddengoed aanwezig, bleef voldoende koel tijdens warme dagen, lichtrijk en gezellig ingericht, responsieve eigenares, ondanks dat ze zelf op vakantie was; vriendelijke ontvangst om ondergrondse parking binnen te rijden was geregeld ondanks aankomst rond middernacht (30 euro extra betalen wel…). De parkeerruimte is inderdaad smal (zie andere reviews), maar niet ongewoon voor Madeira en vormde geen probleem met onze medium huurauto (Nissan Juke). Handig om over twee sets huissleutels te kunnen beschikken, en de nodige winkels vlakbij.

Byt priestranný, čistý a moderný. Parkovacie miesto, lokalita super.
