De communicatie met de host ging erg soepel. De codes waren duidelijk voor o.a. het parkeren en de sleutels van het appartement. Het appartement was schoon en had een goede ligging. de muren en ramen waren geluidsdicht, dus geen last van de grote straat waar het appartement aan ligt.

De kussens waren een beetje dun, dus dat was iets minder comfortabel

Las camas eran incómodas y el baño hay que actualizarlo. Pero lo peor era el calor. Había un aire acondicionado portátil que hacía mucho ruido pero que no enfriaba. Llegábamos cansados al apartamento después de visitar la isla y teníamos que salir a las calle porque no sé podía estar del calor. Por lo que cuesta por noche deberían poner un aire acondicionado en condiciones. Y era octubre.

The property was comfortable and within walking distance to many restaurants, eateries and shopping, and some historical sites

The weather was vey hot and I could not get the air conditioner to cool the apartment properly. However, there was a fan in the bedroom which helped.

Good location, comfortable rooms, all facilities in working order.

No clear instructions on where to park, parking was in a different car park around 5-10 min walk away. Had to stop the car in the bus stop right outside to go in the property to find parking instructions, which had been forgotten anyway. This part was stressful, instructions could have been more clear initially. Lots of steps up to the room, no elevator!

Close to the Funchal city center and very convenient that it had a parking spot!

The directions for the parking spot could've been a little clearer but in the end the host was more than helpful in helping us find it!
