D Apartment - your home with breathtaking Views

This spacious, secure, apartment was beyond expectations. Spotlessly clean with everything in working order. Excellent WhatsApp communication from Melisa prior to arrival and lovely to be met, on arrival, by Duarte and shown around apartment. Welcome gifts of cold bottle of water in fridge, Madeira wine and Bolo de Mel cake were a lovely touch. We loved having breakfast and evening meals on the large south facing balcony throughout our stay as well as great photo opportunities .... amazing views of the sea and a family of kestrels, flying level with the balcony. As mentioned by some other guests, a Football Academy uses the Sports Field, in close proximity, until 23:30 most evenings. We enjoyed watching the enthusiasm of young potential Christiano Ronaldo's of the future but some potential guests may consider it intrusive. Just a five -ten minute walk to the harbour front, restaurants, supermarkets, tele cabin start point and main bus stop area. We were able to access buses for hiking at Pico do Arieiro,, Eira do Serrado and Ribeiro Frio. We could not have chosen a better apartment and location for our first visit to Madeira. Already planning a return in 2026!

Great location with views across Funchal. Everything is very close within walking distance. Parking was useful. Spacious apartment with everything you need for a short stay. The hosts, Melissa and Duartes were very welcoming and responsive. The wine and cake on arrival were appreciated!

Nothing really. The key to the gate to the complex is a bit fiddly and sticks a bit.

Schöne Wohnung, gute Lage, nahe ins Zentrum, sauber, tolle Aussicht, schön eingerichtet, hat alles was man braucht. Würden sofort wieder gehen.

Super Ausblick, tolle Ausstattung und die Nähe zur Altstadt waren unschlagbar.

Das Bett war zu hart.

Pillows and mattress were a bit hard but that’s just my own personal preference and not a negative about the apartment

Az apartman elhelyezkedése kiváló, a kilátás az óceánra emlékezetes. Funchal nevezetességei, turisztikai, szórakoztató és bevásárló helyei nagyon jól elérhetők. A bérelt autóval nagyon jó parkolási lehetőség járt hozzá. A szállásadónk Duarte kedves és segítőkész volt. Szerettünk itt lakni.

Nem volt semmilyen negatív élményünk a szállással kapcsolatban.

This apartment was truly lovely. The view was fantastic, and I loved sitting on the balcony each night to watch sunset. The place was clean and spacious, it was quiet and had a nice kitchen and bathroom. The hosts were friendly and communicative, they were there to introduce themselves and to show us around the place. The parking spot was also very convenient and secure. This was a great pick, easy to walk to so many places, and really nice to come "home" and feel comfortable. Would totally stay there again.
