Beautiful view from the window that’s big plus:) property was clean and tidy only problem we had with tv controller and really bad smell from bathroom:( i understand it’s old bulding and probably old pipes but maybe some air freshener would be help 😜

Great location, nice size apartment for 2 people.

Décor a little dated - could do with an update. It would be great to add a small dining table and change the sofa to something more modern. That's a personal preference, thought. Also, the apartment could be cleaner, as there was some dust in places.

Location of the property is in the heart of the Old Town of Gdansk. That's about it in regard to things that we liked.

We didn't received the instructions to gain access until 16:00..The host/administrator couldn't manage to email us the instructions, we were on the phone to them of ages while standing in the rain outside of the property, waiting at the main gate. I did contact the host around lunchtime to make sure that we receive instruction on time, however that didn't help. Property itself you access via the main gate that requires a code, then another code at the communal entrance to the block and then another code that you key in to the pad on the handle. Main property doors were knackered- we couldn't close it properly in order to lock yourself in. Bedroom is literally next to the main door as soon as you coming in, so it was imperative that we lock the door.. Negatives- were do I start? Flat is very outdated and nothing like in the pictures. Bedroom- window broken- couldn't close it..and we travelled there is winter. Curtain panel broken- at the original pictures there is a nice blind, this was gone and some very long curtain in place that didn't even fit the window, therefore you couldn't draped them all the way in.. Bed was the worse: pillows seen better days, it was like having sand inside rather than a bouncy pillow and they were stinking..duvet the same. Old furniture left in the bedroom, NO LIGHT. Bathroom was very dirty and shower head with limescale- see photos. Bathroom floor dirty and the toilet seat that could kill you when closing. Living room- sofa was very smelly, we placed towels in order to sit on this as it was unbearable, only cable TV with actual cables lying around, massively old tv with the remotes and NO BATTERIES, table lamp broken, and one wall mounted light working out of two. Dishes dirty and plates still wet with pieces of food between them. Induction plate broken and cracked. Sugar and salt pots disgusting. Heating barely worked. It was nothing like in the photos, should be treated as scam.

The location of the apartment is perfect. Right next to the green gate. We could sit on the window and watch the artists playing music right from our room. The flip side to this is even till late night you can hear some outside noise which may affect sound sleep. The apartment was clean and everything was as described. I received the instruction to check-in much in advance so I was able to leave my bags when I arrived (much before 16:00). Overall a very pleasant stay.

I didn't give it 10 points coz the instructions to operate the lift were not given by the host. NOTE/TIP: If you want to operate the lift you've to get in and continuously hold the floor number button which you want to go to. I failed in my first try. Luckily someone in the building told us how to operate it. Never seen a lift like this. Also it's super slow... so unless you're carrying luggage or have knee issues (like my mother).. use the stairs. :)
